OUTREACH IS IMPORTANT TO US
It is so important that we remain abreast of the needs of our community as well as abroad. The Abiding Branch Outreach Ministry has had the privilege of providing assistance to individuals and families in crisis, as well as partnering with a variety of local agencies including The Good Samaritan and The Red Cross.
Since the pandemic we were privileged to provide assistance to Sentara Halifax Regional Hospital staff and have always remembered inmates at the Blue Ridge Halifax County Jail and others. It is the responsibility of every Outreach member to both follow the vision of our founder and leader, pray for direction, but to also develop creative ways to increase our revenue in order to better serve anyone who reaches out to us for help.
Currently, we have a working resource base, however, we are expanding our Outreach Ministry that prayerfully will enable us to provide quality, affordable child care, nutritional services to the disabled and elderly and Work Readiness opportunities for those returning to work or those seeking employment for the first time.
The Abiding Branch Outreach Ministry takes pride in assisting others less fortunate than ourselves and welcome your monetary donations as well as your donated time. The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few!
